We are so grateful for Shelby and Cornerstone! Shelby’s communication was great from the first phone call, to the time of pick up! Shelby sent weekly updates with our pups growth, vet visits and pictures. Shelby is quick to respond to texts, emails and phone calls with any questions. She has always been transparent and very informative until our pup came home and made sure we knew everything paperwork wise when we went to our first vet appointment as well. Shelby’s love and passion are evident in her beautiful bloodline of dogs and their pups! We love our beautiful boy Gunner!

Working with Shelby and Cornerstone was an amazing experience from the start, even until now. Shelby is so responsive and genuine, being honest about all the questions we asked her, making me immediately comfortable with her through this entire process when it came to getting our puppy. Prior to picking up our puppy, she gave us weekly updates from vet appointments to pictures to genetic testing. Having had our amazing puppy for a few months now, I can tell the difference a strong breeding line makes. He is smart, sweet and easy to train since he has come home. Shelby continues to make herself available to us to answer any questions we have. We love that she also continues to check in even after our pup came home to see if we needed anything or to see how things were going. I feel like it was meant to be when we came upon Cornerstone and I cannot say enough good things about our experience here with Shelby. We got our puppy Harlow from Cornerstone Bernese Mountain Dogs and would definitely get another dog from them after such a great experience! They were extremely helpful throughout the whole process and super knowledgeable when it came down to the education that they gave us with all the testing that they do. I have so many great things to say about Corner Stone and don’t know where to start. Not only do we know them personally, they are good hearted people We were lucky enough to receive the sweetest baby from Philip and his wife Shelby at Corner Stone Berners. From the very first phone call to inquire about the puppies that Shelby had available, it was nothing short of being a blessing as this pup for our dad. The compassion that Shelby and her family have done for these dogs is endless. Their property is gorgeous, their kennel setup is amazing and their Berners are nothing but spoiled. She gave so many updates and photos through the whole process and our dad enjoyed the weekly updates. This dog is so healthy and smart. She has changed our whole family and is also enjoying the farm life just an hour north. We could not recommend this breeder enough!

We got our pup Rawlings (Macy and Chappie) end of December 2024. He house trained and crate trained super fast within 2 months when we brought him home. He is our social, loving, goofy guy and has been nothing short of a dream come true since he came home. He minds well but is fun to take out on adventures, car rides or to the ball field for the kids games and oh boy does he get so much attention. We couldn’t imagine life without him and it’s hard to believe that a year has gone by so quickly ! I don’t think it would take much to convince the hubs and the kiddos for a second Corner Stone Berner here in the near future. We love this breed and so glad that we found Shelby.

We got a puppy from Corner Stone Berners that was born in April 2025. I searched and searched and came across them and reached out as they had great reviews and people on Berner groups had nothing but great things to say about them. I couldn’t have chosen a better breeder who feels more like family now. They go above and beyond for these puppies and us as clients. They take you on the whole journey from the time of breeding, through the pregnancy and then the delivery. they let us know how mom and babies were doing once puppies were born. Weekly updates were amazing. When it also came to delivery, it was very simple when it came to a meeting location and also got to meet the other families in the litter as well. We feel so blessed to have found them and had such a great experience, 1000/10 recommend!

100% recommended!! Great puppies, healthy and not a worry when it came down to getting our puppy from Corner Stone. We got our Bailey girl and she so sweet and beautiful. She has made our house complete for now…. They kept us updated weekly with pictures and Shelby was so sweet about everything. She was very informative and answered every question that I had from start to finish. I will be getting another Berner here in the next year from Corner Stone so that our Bailey can have a sibling. We just got our puppy through this family here at Corner Stone and my favorite part was how much communication they offered us from the time we reached out to the time our pup came home. It’s scary trying to get a puppy from a different state with a deposit but our experience with Shelby was so great! Our puppy is amazing and healthy! We just love her! We had such a great experience with Shelby at Corner Stone. This is our first Berner as I have grown up with Goldens and I can’t say enough great things about this breed! These are great and healthy puppies with great bloodlines and Shelby is very thorough with all the testing she does. I have been very impressed with my puppies temperament and also how easy it has been to train him when it comes to basic obedience when I brought him home. I have had Mac since last year and he has been the best boy. I 10/10 highly recommend Corner Stone Berners to anyone that stops and asks him where he came from. We 100% Recommend Corner Stone! We got our sweet pup Willy from Corner Stone Berners last summer and we got to enjoy him while our kids were home from school. He went everywhere with us when it comes to sports and etc. Shelby kept us updated with pictures and videos weekly so we could see all the puppies grow until was our time to pick our boy out! It was amazing to see them grow each and every week like we were part of the process. Even though we don’t live close, Shelby made accommodations for us as a family through FaceTime so we could pick our Willy out. Willy is so healthy and we have not had 1 concern about him.
